Job Description: Project Manager to support application rationalization efforts.  Application Rationalization is the assessment of the current application portfolio to determine redundant and outdated applications.  Applications that will be retained, need to be migrated to new data centers.

Candidate Profile:
Start Date: Immediately
End Date: 3/31/2011
Term:  Contract
Rate: $55.00 - $60.00
Deliverables:
  • Weekly progress and status reports.
  • Create, Manage and maintain MPOS Project Plan
  • Create Activity lists.
  • Create Milestones and timeline.
  • Gather estimates of effort.
  • Manage Risks, issues and dependency lists
  • Manage Project Budget and Scope.
Skills:
  • Strong PMBOK knowledge
  • Strong MS Project Skills
  • Excellent Budget Experience
  • Experience in moving applications between data centers.
  • Co-location and data center knowledge is a must.
  • Strong PM experience, cross-project, relationships and dependencies
  • Strong PM experience, project reporting and communications
